Our experience was amazing from start to finish. Staff were so pleasant, helpful and nice, check in and check out without any issues, literally took seconds. Very accommodating, nothing was too much of a trouble. Room service amazing, food in the bar was out of this world and the beds omg so comfortable and big, the duvet was soooo big too lol. Really great room for the price we paid. Large comfy beds with comfy pillows. A nice modern feel about the hotel and really clean throughout. Great location with the hotel being situated close to Haymarket Train station and also most of Edinburgh’s main attractions being walking distance. All appliances worked to perfection, with a nice spacious bathroom with a large Grohe shower. Downside was that the rooms were a little bit on the small side but that’s me being slightly picky. As we stayed on the 7th floor the view was really nice, however if you were to stay any lower I doubt there would be a nice view. Would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Edinburgh.

I recently stayed at the Voco Haymarket Edinburgh for four nights, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. First, the location is exceptionally convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk from the Haymarket train station, major bus stops, and the tram, making city access effortless. Moreover, the hotel itself is new, clean, and expertly managed. I stayed on the top floor this time, and the unbeatable view toward the chapel was a highlight. The room was both spacious and comfortable. However, it was the soft service that truly made the hotel shine. The majority of the staff were wonderfully friendly and hospitable. I’d like to give a special mention to Anna for making my check-in and check-out experiences so seamless and easy—she is a true gem of the hotel. I must also acknowledge the breakfast staff for delivering exceptional service, even during peak hours. The buffet was delicious and consistently replenished. One staff member went above and beyond: when I mentioned missing the haggis because it ran out so quickly, he personally brought a fresh plate to my table. Overall, with both excellent facilities and outstanding customer service, this hotel easily deserves a 5-star review.

The Voco hotel was a brilliant stay in Edinburgh. It’s honestly a pretty central and convenient location for the price and what you get for the hotel. All amenities (shops, restaurants, attractions, cafes) are within walking distance - roughy 10-15 minutes walk to the “busiest” areas. Also, the connect between the airport and hotel is very ideal - just take the tram to Haymarket and you’ll be near the hotel area within 25 minutes. Service at the hotel is wonderful. We were greeted by Callum who gave us a very warm welcome after our long travel - and he was able to kindly accommodate our requests, and that was much appreciated! The breakfast was lovely, typical continental breakfast, but the benefit of service - the food breakfast buffet was nicely cooked and seating was comfortable - so no complaints there. I recommend this hotel for a getaway weekend, especially if you’re looking to visit all of what Edinburgh has to offer in less than 2 days whilst being comfortable.

Solo traveller on business. Really nice hotel. Friendly staff. Felt very safe. Good breakfast. It wasn’t clear on the website but there is a full restaurant for evening meals but I’d already booked elsewhere (highly recommended The Palmerston). Great bedroom, although I found the pillows too soft. Will definitely return

Just returned from lovely weekend staying at Voco Haymarket in Edinburgh. Staff were so helpful. Had such a warm welcoming greeting on arrival from Calum on reception and he was so helpful throughout our stay. Sajal also provided excellent customer service going that extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. It was my birthday and the birthday greetings I received along with the offer of a complimentary drink of my choosing made it feel special. Location was excellent and we could easily walk to the city centre. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Will definitely return for future trips.

Stayed for three nights and couldn’t speak highly enough of this hotel. Lovely double room which was extremely clean and comfortable. Ample choice for breakfast each morning and bar food was excellent. The staff were all extremely friendly, polite and helpful with any of our queries. The location of the hotel is also very convenient for both the airport (25-30 minute bus ride, stopping at Haymarket Station), and for the city centre of Edinburgh (a 5-10 minute walk to Prince’s Street). Would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, good location 15-20 mins walk to Waverley or 6-7 mins to Haymarket station. Comfy bed and clean room. Water pressure ok, modern shower makes up for it. No toilet brush weirdly.
